'We lose some, we gain something else'
The idea behind this work was inspired by loss and gain. The pandemic took away some freedoms from us. Travel, going mask free, some beliefs etc. The things we've lost are symbolised by the traight-edge shapes cut out from the gray surface (of life).
But in those places, new things (the blue blobs) emmerged to fill the gaps. Maybe a new appreciation of life? Perhaps the opportunity to work from home that was before "impossible"? We've lost things but we gained other things. And our life looks differently now.
