Flinders Street used to be a place I'd pass through every day during my commute. Since Covid started there were a lot of changes. I don't commute anywhere anymore, but when I occasionally go to the city, Flinders Street station reminds me of different times.
I like the shape of the historic building and the energy of it with people around. Coming, going, waiting for loved ones.
This work was painted outside, sitting at Fed Square.
It's painted with acrylics on a 30.5x40.5cm double-thick canvas. The work is signed at the front and back, and ready to hang.
